Responsibility
Interline Reservation Service acts only as an agent for the companies or principals providing or offering the means of travel, accommodation and other services, and bookings are made subject to the terms and conditions under which services are provided by principals concerned. The principals reserve the right to change prices of their services without notice. Interline Reservation Service cannot be held liable for any alterations, act or omission on the part of those performing any of the principal’s services or for any consequential loss. Descriptions of the principal’s services and accommodation are supplied by principals and Interline Reservation Service will not be responsible for any misdescription of such services. Receipt of payment shall be deemed acceptance. It is your responsibility to check all tickets and documents purchased through Interline Reservation Service.
Prices and Payment
Rates are quoted in Australian Dollars (except where indicated). All rates, terms and conditions are subject to change without notice. In accordance with currency fluctuations, Interline Reservation Service reserves the right to adjust sell prices at any time. Any verbal quote given is an estimate of the price only and is subject to change at any time. All prices reflect a discount for payments made with cash /cheque /money order. Payment by credit cards attracts an additional 2.2% to 3.3% depending on the type of credit card. Personal/Company cheques will not be accepted for travel within 7 working days.
Late Bookings
Online bookings can not be processed within 48 hours of departure date, please contact Interline Reservation on (02) 9700 8711. Reservations staff will advise the availability and ticket issue requirements, as some Airline tickets can not be issued within this time frame. As IRS reservation department is closed on weekends and public holidays therefore online bookings can not be processed within the following time frames: Making a booking on Friday - 5 days prior to departure Making a booking on Saturday - 4 days prior to departure Making a booking on Sunday - 3 days prior to departure These time frames allow for reservations, ticketing and ticket delivery.
Additional Fees
A late booking fee of $100 will be incurred for any bookings made within 5 working days from date of departure. Supplier fees may apply (e.g. Air Pacific charges a late ticketing fee of $50 within 7 days of departure). A $33 service fee is paid upfront for requests relating to products not listed in our bulletins, on the website or fliers. This will go towards the booking. A $5 postage fee will be applied if tickets are sent out by express post. An applicable courier fee will be charged if the tickets are requested to be delivered. If your booking is a late booking and has attracted the fees listed below this fee will not apply. Tickets can be collected from our office or sent by normal post, in this case the fee will not apply. A surcharge of $50 per booking will apply if booking 'land only' or Travel Insurance only and not in conjunction with any of Interline's airfare.
Amendments
Once booking is confirmed a fee of $33 per amendment applies plus any fee levied by the airline/operators.
Cancellations & Refunds
Deposits on confirmation are non-refundable. Up to 100% cancellation fees may apply.
Cancellations will incur a fee from $110 per adult (non-refundable deposit) plus any cancellation fees levied by the suppliers after confirmation. Refunds to passengers will not be made until Interline Reservation has received funds from the airlines, cruise and ground operators. If you fail to check-in for your flight, cruise or travel arrangements you will be regarded as a "No Show" and may be assessed a 100% cancellation fee. Booking fees and credit card surcharges are non-refundable in all circumstances and are not part of any cancellation fee. Cancellations: Up to 100% cancellation fee is applicable after tickets and vouchers have been issued. Unused Services - There will be no refunds or exchange made for unused services once travel has commenced.
Travel Insurance
Travel Insurance is strongly recommended to cover cancellations due to unforseen circumstances. You can have this issued online except, if you have a pre-existing medical condition in which case, the policy must be issued by our office.
Passports and Visas
All travellers leaving Australia require a passport with minimum of 6 months validity from the return date. You must also check regarding any visa requirements for the countries you are visiting. All passport and visa requirements are your own responsibility.
Government & Airport Taxes
Most airport taxes are now pre-paid and appear on your airline ticket. When reconfirming your flights we suggest that you check regarding any additional taxes which may be applicable to the country you are visiting. Taxes quoted online and paid for are subject to change up until time of ticketing, this is due to currency/exchange rate fluctuations and Airline increases. If the tax quoted at time of booking is different to when we issue the ticket you will be contacted by our reservations staff.
All Air tickets are subject to the following Airlines' conditions
Alterations to flights may not be permitted once tickets have been issued or travel has commenced. All carriers have to minimise the negative effect of "no-shows". That is why they may be compelled to overbook their services by a few seats in order to enable more passengers to travel on their chosen flights. While Airlines make every effort to provide seats for which confirmed reservations have been made. No absolute boarding guarantee may be provided. Under certain conditions most airlines operates compensation schemes for passengers with confirmed reservations who are denied carriage because of non availibility. Details of these schemes are available at most Airline offices. It is important to note that all airlines do reserve the right to change a passenger's departure date, even after confirmation has been received by the passengers.
