Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City - Arrival
Upon arrival at TanSonNhatInternationalAirport, you are picked up and transferred to check in hotel (early check-in is subject to hotel’s availability). Free at leisure.
OVERNIGHT IN HO CHIMINHCITY
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City - Cu Chi Tunnels
Drive to the remarkable Cu Chi tunnels outside Ho Chi Minh City. During the war “Viet Cong” guerillas built the labyrinth of narrow tunnels using them to hide during bombing raids and stage surprise attacks. Return to Ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon for a half-day city tour including the ReunificationPalace, Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office, Chinatown, Binh Tay Market and ThienHauTemple. A relaxing, end-of-day foot massage is optional.

Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City – Ben Tre - Boat Cruise
Depart Ho Chi Minh City for a scenic drive through the Mekong Delta. At My Tho take a boat to an island with orchard gardens. Take a horse-drawn cart to Quoi Son to visit a bee farm and enjoy tea and candies. Float on a sampan through the narrow, tree-lined canals of the Mekong Delta. Continue by boat to a family-run enterprise making coconut candy. After lunch return by boat to My Tho and the Vinh Trang pagoda if time permits. Return to Ho Chi Minh City by late afternoon.

Day 4: Ho Chi Minh City – Danang – Hoi An
This morning, we take the flight to DanangCity. Upon Upon arrival, you are picked up and transferred to visit Danang’s ChamMuseum with the world’s finest collection of Cham artwork. Proceed to Hoi An for hotel check-in. [Breakfast]
Day 5 Hoi An - Sightseeing
This morning, we take a half-day walking tour of this quaint town visiting ancient merchants’ houses, a Hokkien temple, a 400-year-old JapaneseCovered Bridge and the vibrant riverside market. Afternoon trip to a lantern workshop to learn the techniques involved and then create your own. Finish the day with a sunset boat trip on the ThuBonRiver to Thanh Ha pottery village.

Day 6: Hoi An – Hue – Sightseeing
Morning, drive to HueCity over the spectacular Hai Van Mountain pass and through emerald-green paddy fields. Check in hotel. Afternoon, visit the Imperial Citadel and Dong Ba market.The spectacular Citadel is built on the same principles and design as Beijing's ForbiddenPalace and contains a series of palaces, ornate halls, libraries, residences, and colleges.
OVERNIGHT IN HUE[Breakfast]
Day 7: Hue – Hanoi
Morning boat cruise on the romantic PerfumeRiver. Visit the elegant Thien Mu Pagoda on the riverbank and the elaborate tombs of Emperor Tu Duc. Afternoon, In the evening watch a performance of the renowned water puppet theatre whose origins date back over a thousand years.

Day 8: Hanoi – Sightseeing – Bac Ninh – Hanoi
After breakfast visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex containing the Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh’s former home and the One Pillar Pagoda followed by the Temple of Literature, HoanKiemLake and the bustling Old Quarter. Afternoon drive to Bac Ninh, the cradle of traditional Vietnamese music and theatre. On arrival take a cow-drawn cart through country lanes to visit the Dinh Bang communal house and Do temple. Enjoy local folk songs before returning to Hanoi.

Day 9: Hanoi - Halong Bay
Drive the 170km to Vietnam’s most spectacular natural wonder, HalongBay. Board a refurbished wooden sailing junk for a cruise through the limestone cliffs and emerald waters of HalongBay. Drop anchor for the night near a remote island.
OVERNIGHT ON JUNK. [Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner]
Day 10: HalongBay - Boat Cruise - Hanoi
Spend a half-day cruising through new waters, stopping to visit colorful grottoes and swim near deserted beaches. In late afternoon return to Hanoi. En route visit Phu Lang or Dong Trieu ceramic village.

Day 11: Ha Noi - Departure
Free at leisure before transfer to TanSonNhatInternationalAirport for your departure flight.
