The Winstar passenger sees the world from a romantic sailing ship with luxurious accommodation, a casual yet elegant atmosphere, and exquisite service and cuisine. Although the towering sails echoed a bygone era of explorers, the msy Wind Star, with its sleek lines and computerised controls is revolutionary in concept and design.
Windstars ships are officially masted-sail-yachts (msy), but the designation belies the vessels unique rigging. Unfurling in 2 minutes at the push of a button, billowing white sails reach to the sky. These stately vessels sail to exotic locales and hidden harbours that larger ships cannot access.
The wind Star capacity is 148 passengers (based on double occupancy).
Ships facilities include Skylight Main Lounge, Restaurant (one sitting) Pool Bar, Video/CD and Book Library, water Sports platform, Salt- Water Pool, Hot Tub, Fitness Centre and Sauna, Casino, Verandah & Terrace, 24 hour open Bridge and Reception.
